Deleting your account

Permanently delete your account and every workspace only you use.

Settings → Data & privacy → Delete account permanently deletes your account and every workspace no one else uses. You will need your password — or, for an account created with Google or Apple, to have signed in with it in the last 10 minutes. An account linked to an Apple ID also confirms with Apple once more, so Countorra's access to that Apple ID ends with the account.

Before anything is deleted, Countorra cancels the paid subscription of each of those workspaces and confirms that nothing can be charged again. If that cannot be confirmed, nothing is deleted. Deletion cannot be undone.

A subscription bought in the iPhone app is billed by Apple, and deleting your account does not stop it: cancel it on your iPhone, in Settings → your name → Subscriptions. The dialog tells you when one of your workspaces has one.

If you are the only admin of a household other people use, make another member its admin first: Settings → Members → Make admin. You then become a member, and deleting your account removes only you.
