Signing in

Sign in with your email address and password, or with Google where it is offered.

Countorra accounts use an email address and password. On the sign-in and sign-up pages, Continue with Google uses your Google account instead: Google tells Countorra your name, email address and profile picture, and never your Google password. Signing in with Apple or another provider is not available on the web.

If you turned on two-step verification in Settings → Security, signing in then asks for the six-digit code from your authenticator app.

Lost your authenticator app? At the code step, choose “Email me a link to remove it” and open the link in the same browser within 15 minutes. It removes the authenticator and signs you out everywhere; then sign in with your password and set up a new one.

After 10 minutes without activity you are signed out, and signing in again brings you back to the page you were on. A minute before, a notice offers “Stay signed in”.

After several failed attempts, sign-in is paused for a while to protect the account. If that happens, wait and try again, or reset your password.
