The Budget page of a sample workspace for October 2026: income and expenses by category, each with its planned amount, what has been spent, what is left and where it is heading; two categories at risk; and six months of planned against spent.
How it works.
- Step 1
Set a plan per category
Choose an amount for groceries, dining out, transport and the rest. A plan carries into every month until you change it.
- Step 2
Spending is counted for you
Your transactions fill the budget in as they arrive. There is nothing to add up.
- Step 3
Watch the pace
Each line shows planned, spent, what's left, and where it's heading if the rest of the month goes as usual.
- Step 4
Get a heads-up
Countorra tells you when a category reaches 80% of its plan, and when it goes over.
- Planned for the month
- $500
- Spent so far
- $340
- Left
- $160
Halfway through the month you've spent $340 of your $500 grocery plan, so $160 is left for the rest of it.

Why it matters.
- Decide before you spend
- A plan per category turns “I hope it's fine” into a number you can check.
- Catch it early
- Categories at risk are named at the top while there is still time to adjust.
- Learn from last month
- Last month sits beside each line, and six months of planned against spent sit below.
