How it works.
- Step 1
Transactions arrive
Connected bank and card accounts bring their posted transactions in by themselves. Cash you spend can be added by hand in a cash or wallet account.
- Step 2
A category is suggested
Countorra suggests a category from how you filed that merchant before, your bank's own label, or the description — and says which.
- Step 3
You accept or change it
Accept the suggestion, pick another category, or do several at once. Pick a different one and Countorra offers to make it a rule.
- Step 4
Rules do the repeat work
A rule such as “if the merchant contains Uber, file it under Transportation” files new transactions by itself.
