Excel export

On Transactions and on Reports, Download Excel sits beside Download CSV. The workbook opens with a title row and a frozen, filterable header; dates are dates and amounts are numbers in a money format, so you can sort and sum straight away.

Transactions exports what you're looking at, with the filters you chose. Reports exports the statement for the period you picked. Text that looks like a formula, such as a merchant name starting with =, stays text.

The file is made when you download it and goes only to you. It works in Microsoft Excel, Apple Numbers and Google Sheets.
