Payroll
Read your newest pay stub from your employer's payroll, for the Tax Alarm.
Payroll connects to your payroll provider through Plaid: you find your employer or payroll provider in Plaid's window and sign in there, and Countorra never sees your payroll login. Plaid says it covers about 80% of the US workforce; if yours isn't there, upload a pay stub on Documents instead. Countorra reads your newest pay stub of the year (employer, pay date, gross pay, the federal and state income tax withheld, and any bonus, commission or stock pay on it) and shows it to you; Use in Tax Alarm saves it.
Payroll is part of Countorra Tax and Countorra Tax Family, and it's optional: connect it from Settings → Integrations or from the Tax Alarm when you want to. It opens once your plan starts, after the free trial.
Payroll can be connected once a year. Countorra keeps the figures from that check for 12 months, so if you disconnect and come back you can use them without connecting again; you can remove them from the same place. Once connected, Update from payroll asks your payroll provider for your newest pay stubs, once every few months; the sheet shows when it's next available.
