Supported jurisdictions and tax years
United States only, tax year 2026: federal plus California, New York and Arizona income tax. California's 2026 figure uses FTB's official 2026 method until the final 2026 rates are published.
Tax support is limited, and deliberately specific:
Good to know
- Country: the United States only.
- Tax year: 2026.
- Federal: federal income tax and self-employment tax, calculated under the IRS's published 2026 rules.
- State income tax: California, New York and Arizona. New York covers New York State only, not New York City or Yonkers tax.
- Arizona: its 2026 standard deduction is worked out from Arizona law and confirmed by the enacted legislation, so the result is labelled Calculated. The exemption for people 65 or older and the dependent tax credit are included.
- California: the Franchise Tax Board hasn't published its final 2026 rate schedules yet. Its own 2026 estimated-tax instructions (Form 540-ES) prescribe how to work out 2026 tax until then — the 2025 tax table, standard deduction and exemption credits — and Countorra uses exactly that method and names it on the result. A filed 2026 return uses the final schedules, so it can differ slightly.
- Texas and Florida are recognised as having no state income tax.
- Other states and countries: not supported yet.
